Revealed! Here's why Abhishek Bachchan's next with Ram Gopal Varma is now postponed
Recently we reported that Abhishek Bachchan has signed on to do four movies, all of which will go on floors this year and release in 2018. The actor has signed on to play a vigilante in his next film with Prabhu Deva titled 'Lefty'. Abhishek has also given his nod for Nishikanth Kamat's untitled next. His third film is a Ronnie Screwvala production, and he has another film titled 'Bachchan Singh' which will be produced by Rajat Rawail and is to be helmed by Priyadarshan.

Abhishek had also signed on to do Ram Gopal Varma's next 'Arrest', however, the film release is now postponed. Reportedly, the film was to go on floors by April, but now we hear that Ram Gopal Varma is busy working on another film and hence the delay. 'Arrest' is inspired by the story of a real-life encounter specialist, and is rumoured to star Huma Qureshi opposite Abhishek.

RGV was looking at releasing 'Arrest' by the end of 2017, but he now first wants to complete a horror flick with actor Mithun Chakraborty. RGV will begin shooting with Mithun Chakraborty in May. As per reports in a leading tabloid, 'Arrest' script is undergoing changes, and RGV is still working on it. 'Arrest' will now go on floors in the latter half of 2017.
