Ranbir embarrasses the Bachchans with his ‘Mauke Pe Chauka’ comment

Ranbir Kapoor and Aishwarya Rai Bachchan look amazing as a couple in Ae Dil Hai Mushkil. The actor seems smitten by his co-star.

Recently in a radio interview, RK was asked about his experience shooting intimate scenes with Ash Bachchan in the film. Talking about it, the actor confessed he was very nervous. He also added that, “Maine socha, kabhi aisa mauka milega nahi, so maine bhi mauke pe chauka maar diya!”

Ranbir’s comment on Aishwarya didn’t go well with the Bachchans. A source close to the Bachchan family said that they did not mind the intimate scenes because they too are actors and they understand professionalism. But, the ‘mauke pe chauka’ comment by Ranbir felt out of the line and the family found it quite embarrassing.

Reports of the Bachchans being unhappy with this comment reached to Ranbir. To repair the damage done, he corrected himself saying, “Aishwarya is such a superb actor and also a family friend. She’s one of India’s most talented and respected women. I will be forever grateful to her for her contribution to Ae Dil Hai Mushkil. I could not have disrespected her like that.”
