Ranbir-Alia starrer ‘Dragon’ to go on floors this October

Recently there were rumours that Ayan Mukerji and Ranbir Kapoor’s third collaboration ‘Dragon’ was to be shelved. A source close to the production house cited budget troubles as the reason for suspending the filming.

However, Ranbir put all these rumours to rest, announcing that he will begin shooting for ‘Dragon’ on October 15th, 2017.

Dharma Productions' magnum opus of sorts, ‘Dragon’ boasts of a strong ensemble, with Ranbir Kapoor and Alia Bhatt, cast opposite each other for the first time and Big B playing a key role as well. The film has been touted as Bollywood’s response to Hollywood’s superhero flicks! Ranbir and Ayan had even flown to London to meet the internationally celebrated Israeli martial arts specialist Ido Portal for the action sequences in the film.

Talking about 'Dragon', Alia had stated, "It's not a predictable story. All I can tell you is that 'Dragon' is a unique story about love, mixed with a lot of power.”

Helmed by Ayan Mukerji, the romantic sci-fi thriller ‘Dragon’ is slated to go on floors in October 2017.
