Ranbir Kapoor to shoot for Kishore Kumar biopic in 2018

Recently there were reports that director Anurag Basu is planning to make the Kishore Kumar biopic sans Ranbir Kapoor as the actor has his kitty full. In a recent interaction, Anurag had revealed, "I don't know with whom I will make the film and when exactly. After Sanjay Dutt biopic, Ranbir will be busy with another film, 'Dragon'. I don't want to wait for too long for my film, so if Ranbir can't give dates this year, I will go with someone else."
However, it now seems that Anurag's comment was a tad bit premature as Ranbir and Anurag in a recent interaction confirmed that the duo is soon planning to go ahead with the project. During the promotions of 'Jagga Jasoos', Ranbir and Anurag confirmed that they will work together in Kishore Kumar's biopic. Ranbir Kapoor said that he is busy only until March 2018 and after that his all dates will be for Anurag Basu.
While it will be great to see the director-actor duo collaborate, this announcement certainly makes us wonder about the fate of Ranbir's next with Alia, 'Dragon'.
