Ranbir: Sanjay Dutt is very child-like, has a positive outlook on life in the face of hardships

Rajkumar Hirani’s ambitious project based on Sanjay Dutt’s life has gone on floors. Ranbir Kapoor has stepped in Sanjay Dutt’s shoes and the actor is leaving no stone unturned to get his look right in the film. RK junior has transformed his body completely to look like Sanjay. There is a lot of hard work the young actor has to do since the story depicts different phases in Sanjay’s life, and Ranbir will have to transform himself accordingly.

Talking about the film to a leading agency, Ranbir revealed, “The audience will get to know the real Sanjay Dutt. There is a certain image about him because of the controversies and his imprisonment. Whatever we have shown in the film is an honest portrayal.”

RK junior further added, “There is no exaggeration nor is it a propaganda film. It is not like just because we are making a film, we have to show him in a very positive light.” Contrary to the news, Ranbir said that Sanjay Dutt does not interfere in the making of the film.

Ranbir added, “When Sanjay Dutt heard the story, he never asked for a change, which I think is very brave of him. I don’t know how someone can live a life which has so many ups and downs. It will take me 100 lives to replicate it… He is very child-like, has a positive outlook on life in the face of hardships and tough times. He also has a very strong will.”
