Randhir Kapoor slams the reports of Ranbir Kapoor's marriage!

Recently there were reports that actor Ranbir Kapoor, along with his mum, Neetu Kapoor had flown to London to fix a marriage alliance. However, this is not the first time that there has been a speculation surrounding Ranbir's marriage. Post his break-up with Katrina Kaif there were rumours that his mum is lookinng out for a match for the actor.

However, when quizzed Ranbir's uncle, Randhir Kapoor, about the marriage plans, he said, "Ranbir is having a terrific time with all the success and the money he’s got, and age being in his favour too. Why does he have to get married and spoil it all so soon? Shaadi ke liye bahut time hai abhi usko. Let him have a nice time right now."

However, when further prodded if there is any talk surrounding Ranbir's marriage in the family, he questioned, "Anyway, how is his relationship status anybody’s concern or business?"

Talking about his relationship with Ranbir, the 70-year-old actor added, "At times, I envy him because I was nowhere at his age—with the kind of success and moolah that he’s got. He’s doing very well and I’m so proud. Little ups and downs and high and low tides are there in everyone’s career. This happens and it’s a passing phase, so that’s completely alright."

On being quizzed if he’s happy the way the younger Kapoors are carrying the family's legacy further, he pointed out, "My two daughters and Ranbir are doing good job in films. They’re extremely successful."

Talking about the kids in the family and they comparisons that they have to face, Randhir signed off saying, "It’s okay to being compared and I don’t care, honestly. After all, there’s so much talent in the family that you’ll be left surprised every time. Our kids have not just surpassed us, but they’re doing very well for themselves."
