Rani Mukerji: I have learned so much after 20 years in Bollywood

Rani Mukerji is one of those actresses who can pull off any kind of role. The actress has movies like 'Black', 'Hum Tum', 'Saathiya', 'Yuva' and 'Mardaani' under her kitty and her amazing performance in these films have garnered her a ton of praise from the audience and critics alike.

Rani has successfully completed 20 years in the Bollywood film industry. Talking about her journey with a leading media daily, the actress stated, "It’s been quite a learning process actually because, at the start, I didn’t want to be an actor. So, for a person who didn’t want to be an actor to someone who has completed 20 years or two decades, you can imagine how much I must have learned through my journey."

She added, "I also got an opportunity to work with Shah Rukh, Salman and Aamir Khan in my first three films; and my learning started when I saw them put in the kind of hard work they do. It has been a huge learning experience for me because with every film, every director and every actor, you learn something new regardless of whether the film works at the box office or not."

Talking about how cinema is today, the actress revealed, "It’s amazing how cinema has changed in so many different ways in the last couple of decades. We are going through a wonderful time wherein there is a lovely mix. So just to see different kind of filmmakers and technicians working together, teaming up and learning from them has been quite an enriching journey."
