Rani Mukerji starrer 'Mardaani 2' releases this December!

The first movie 'Mardaani' starring Rrani Mukerji in lead won hearts with the powerful storyline that it had. And the mass has only been excited with the announcement of 'Mardaani 2' in the making. The makers of the movie have now announced the release date of the much-awaited thriller and it happens to be December 13 2019.
Rani plays the character of a fearless and dedicated Superintendent of Police named Shivani Shivaji Roy for 'Mardaani 2'. We've all seen her deliver a great performance in the prequel 'Mardaani' where the story was based on child trafficking racket.
'Mardaani 2' will see Rani fight a 21-year-old evil villain. The details of who will be portraying the role of a villain isn't out yet and neither is the kind of crime that Rani will be fighting in the sequel. Although, we do know that Aditya Chopra is to launch a new face as the antagonist for this one. The movie marks the directorial debut of Gopi Puthran who wrote the the first film 'Mardaani'. 'Mardaani 2', produced by Aditya Chopra has been extensively shot in Jaipur and parts of Rajasthan. This is going to be Rani's next release after the global blockbuster 'Hichki' which delivered around 250 crores all around the world.
