Rani Mukerji to not make a comeback with Siddharth P Malhotra’s film

Rani Mukerji, last seen in action flick 'Mardani', took a sabbatical from films the actress was pregnant. In 2015, Rani gave birth to baby girl Adira and since the actress has been making conscious efforts to stay away from the limelight. However, speculations were rife that the actress was soon planning to make a comeback in a film to be helmed by Siddharth P Malhotra and produced by her filmmaker husband Aditya Chopra under the Yash Raj banner.
But, a recent report in DNA suggests that Rani isYash Raj Films. not making a comeback with Siddharth's film. A source close to the daily revealed, "There is no women oriented film or any film which Rani will be doing with Siddharth and which will be backed by Yash Raj Films. There is no such project in the pipeline."
While the director is currently working on a love story and a drama film, there are no plans of an association with Rani or the Yash Raj production house. Earlier, there were reports that Rani will be doing a film to be directed by Shoojit Sarkar but turned out that the news was false/ Rani's comeback is much awaited, and it will be even more interesting to see with which film does the actress step foot again in the industry.
