Ranveer Singh, who is playing the role of Alauddin Khilji in Sanjay Leela Bhansali's 'Padmavati', recently suffered a head injury on the sets. Though he was bleeding profusely, the actor did not let the injury affect the shoot. The actor, who was later rushed to the hospital, walked off with a few stitches to his head.

Recuperating from this injury, the actor is currently on a break and has left for a two-week long vacation to London. However, before flying off, the actor made a quick pit stop at his residence as his alleged lady love, Deepika Padukone was waiting to meet the injured actor.

Ranveer, who is a self-confessed sports aficionado and a 'Gooner', watched the Arsenal v/s Chelsea FA Cup final match in Wembley yesterday.

The actor is also planning to catch the India vs Pakistan cricket match in Birmingham on June 4.

However, Ranveer's London escapade will not hamper the shoot of 'Padmavati' as it is a scheduled break. While Ranveer has been diligently shooting for 'Padmavati' in Mumbai, a large chunk of his portions is yet to be shot. The actor will resume shoot for Sanjay Leela Bhansali's magnum opus once he is back to the Bay on June 8.
