Raveena Tandon: I've learnt from my experience of working with organisations that deal with sexual assault

Bollywood actress Raveena Tandon Thadani, was recently invited by a girl’s university in Kolkata to feature in a documentary revolving around sexual assault on women. The actress last worked in her film 'Maatr', in which she played the role of a rape victim. The film highlighted the atrocities committed against women in our country. After watching the film, the college approached Raveena to be a part of their video.

A source also informed that the actress also shared her insight on blending storytelling with social injustice. The actress is reportedly happy with the final draft and will begin shooting for the documentary early next year. Talking about this, Raveena said, “I feel responsible to share all that I have learnt from my experience of working with organisations that deal with sexual assault. I’m relieved with the youth’s participation in opening the dialogue for such an issue.” Well, we think the actress is taking a great initiative. Stay tuned for more updates.
