REVEALED: Details about Anushka Sharma’s cameo in Sanjay Dutt's biopic

Rumour mills were abuzz that Anushka Sharma is to do a cameo appearance in Sanjay Dutt's biopic. The film helmed by ace director Rajkumar Hirani stars Ranbir Kapoor as Sanjay. The film reportedly also stars Sonam Kapoor who will portray the many women Sanjay had a relationship with. Rajkumar Hirani directed Anushka in 'PK', and hence it wasn't difficult for him to convince her to do a cameo in the film.

Anushka too readily agreed on to do the cameo as she shared a friendly relation with the filmmaker. Talking about Anushka's role in the film, a source recently revealed, "Anushka hasn't done any special appearances for anyone so far, but she loves and respects Raju sir a lot. So, she agreed to do the cameo. She has already begun shooting for her part from Tuesday (January 17)."

While the director is shooting the film with complete secrecy, the source further went on to add, "Besides the fact that she has a great rapport with Raju sir, Anushka also loved the script and her part. She will wrap up the shoot in one go. Her part might be a special cameo, but it will be an interesting and critical part of the story." Anushka will finish shooting for the film in another five-six days.

Apart from her cameo in the biopic, Anushka will also star in 'Phillauri' alongside Diljit Dosanjh. Post which the actress will be seen opposite Shah Rukh Khan in Imtiaz Ali's 'The Ring'.
