Bollywood veteran Rishi Kapoor believes that Aamir Khan is the new Raj Kapoor

However, Aamir's performance in the film has found a fan in Rishi Kapoor. Bollywood veteran Rishi Kapoor saw the film with wife Neetu Kapoor, and was all praises for Aamir's portrayal of Mahavir Singh Phogat.
Rishi Kapoor praised Aamir and called him “the new Raj Kapoor – showman of our times.”
