Riteish Deshmukh: I would love to do a Marathi film with Genelia

Riteish Deshmukh and wife Genelia D'Souza have been giving us couple goals ever since the two began dating. The cute couple worked together in their debut film 'Tujhe Meri Kasam' (2003) and then further went on to work in films like 'Masti' (2004) and 'Tere Naal Love Ho Gaya' (2012). After the duo got married, Genelia has hardly been seen on the silver screen which left her fans wondering if the actress will make a comeback anytime soon.
Recently, in an interaction with a leading daily, when Riteish was asked about working with Genelia again, he stated, “I would love to do a Marathi film with Genelia but we need a script first. Also, she has to decide if she's ready to make a comeback to films."
He further spoke about how him and Genelia make a great team, and stated, "I had shared the idea of 'Faster Fene' which was set in the '70s with her and she came up with the brainwave of transplanting it in the present time so it caters to today's audience. She was the one who set up the entire production, right from getting the team together to overseeing minute details. I came into the picture only when the film was ready and had to be promoted."
