Ritesh Sidhwani on ‘Don 3’: We have found the right idea

Shah Rukh Khan starrer 'Don' and 'Don 2' turned out to be one of the biggest Blockbusters in Shah Rukh's career as the both the films achieved critical as well as commercial success. With the success of both the films, producers also went in to announce the possibility of a third instalment. While producers Farhan Akhtar (also the director) and Ritesh Sidhwani in talks for the film, the two have not yet confirmed the developments.
However, Ritesh recently revealed that 'Don 3' is surely in the making as they have found the right idea. Talking to PTI, Ritesh revealed, "We are thinking about Don (3) and we are thinking very hard on it. We have found the right idea, it’s being written now. We will make an official announcement soon."
Throwing light on whether 'Don 3' will be helmed by Farhan Akhtar, Ritesh said, "Wait for the announcement." Ritesh had earlier even posted a picture on the occasion of 15 years of Excel Entertainment, indicating that 'Don 3' was in the pipeline. He posted:
Ritesh also spoke about Excel Entertainment's future projects, and revealed, "Farhan is just acting in Lucknow-Central, we are not producing the film. I have heard it, but it’s (film) a good script and it’s going to be really nice. We have 'Gold' and 'Fukrey 2'."
"We will start shooting for Gold by the end of the month, while Fukrey 2 is ready and it is set to release on December 8, the trailer will be out soon," concluded Ritesh.
