Saif Ali Khan: Amrita and I are on the same page for Sara’s acting debut

Earlier there were reports about Amrita Singh is rather miffed with ex-husband Saif Ali Khan for his comments on daughter Sara Ali Khan's acting debut. According to Amrita, it was rather irresponsible of Saif to say that he is worried for his daughter planning to become an actress. Talking about Amrita being quite miffed, the source said, "She told him it was an irresponsible thing to say considering Sara is about to embark on a film career. Saif didn't want to be dragged into an argument, so he mumbled that he was 'quoted out of context' and calmed down his former wife." (Also Read: Amrita miffed with Saif’s comments on Sara’s debut?)

However, after the reports of Amrita miffed with Saif started doing rounds, Saif in an interview with a leading agency clarified that he and Amrita are on the same page as far as their daughter Sara and her acting debut is concerned.

Calling the reports "totally fictitious", Saif said, "Amrita and I are on the same page as far as Sara and her acting debut is concerned. We never had any such conversation. I am fully supportive of Sara's acting ambitions and we discuss things in detail."

"I am looking forward to Sara's debut with a mix of excitement, anxiety and nervousness like any other father would. It's sad to see an increasing lack of accountability and responsible reporting these days," said Saif as he signed off.
