Many actors are choosing to play biopics in Hindi films right now and it would be safe to say that it is raining biopics in Bollywood as of now. And on the topics of biopics, the late Mansoor Ali Khan Pataudi was one of the most charming men as also great cricketers who dazzled many. So, when Saif Ali Khan was questioned by the media on the topic, the doting son had much to say.

When questioned about the idea, Saif said, "I am keen to produce the film. But we have to find the right guy who can play my father. There is not much footage available. So whoever plans to make it, will have to do a lot of research." On being quizzed why he won't play the role himself, he said, "I don't think I am sexy enough. He was a stylish person and played the game with his own style. He carried the right attitude. I don't think I can copy him." "Most of my dad's glorious days on the field were when he was young. So I am not sure if I'd suit the part. Although I'd love to play him, I think we need a young actor," Saif added.

According to mom and veteran actress Sharmila Tagore, Ranbir Kapoor would do a great job to play the late Pataudi in the biopic. However, in 'Parineeta', nuances of his charismatic father were imbibed by Saif beautifully and to that, the actor said, "That is one of the reasons why my mother liked 'Parineeta' a lot. In fact, my sister (Soha Ali Khan) told me that I looked like Abba in the film."

Well, we think Saif would do a great job playing his father. After all, he is one charismatic Pataudi himself!
