Recently, a poster of Saif Ali Khan starrer 'Baazaar' unveiled, and the makers plan to release the film in December. Apart from 'Baazaar', Saif starrer 'Chef' is to release in June and 'Kalakaandi' in September. Another film that saw Saif in a lead role, 'Rangoon', already hit theatres on 24th February this year. Which means that Saif will have four film releases this year, something that is the first since last 18 years.

A leading daily report suggests that the actor is only seen in some 50 odd films since his career started in 1993. A source close to the daily informs, "Compare that to Akshay Kumar and Ajay Devgn, who started out in Bollywood at around the same time and have done some 100 films each and you find that he has maintained a moderate pace. 2017 is going to be an exception."

A trade further informs the daily, "In a way, he is compensating for a lean phase over the last few years. In 2016, he didn’t have a single release and in 2015, he just had Phantom to his name. He may have had a few misses of late ('Rangoon', included), but his performances were always appreciated."

Looks like 2017 is Saif Ali Khan's year!
