Here is what director Raja Krishna Menon has to say about a month delay in Saif Ali Khan starrer Chef's schedule
It is not always the cast, crew or the production cost that postpones a film sometimes it is the climatic changes that play a role in the film's delay. And so is the case with Saif Ali Khan starrer 'Chef'. The film's New York schedule has been delayed by a month as there are extreme chill and heavy snowfall in the city.

While Saif has resumed shooting for Raja Krishna Menon's Chef today, plans to shoot in New York had to be pushed due to climatic conditions. The filmmaker had planned to shoot a montage song and the climax in New York, and was all set to shoot the sequences in January but will now have to shoot them in February. With one month delay, Saif and his onscreen son, Svar Kamble, will continue to shoot at a Mumbai studio.

Confirming the same, director Raja Krishna of the 'Airlift' fame, said, "We are waiting for the weather to improve. At the moment we are told we will get just six hours of light so we have pushed the schedule by a month."
