Salman Khan always has Katrina Kaif's back!

While Salman Khan and Katrina Kaif might have been ex-flames, they have always maintained that they are good friends. In fact, it was Salman who gave a proper launch to Katrina's Bollywood career with the film, 'Maine Pyaar Kyun Kiya' in 2005. Though the two might have broken-up in 2008 with Katrina dating Ranbir, the two once again came together for Kabir Khan's 'Ek Tha Tiger' in 2012.

While the two have not spoken about their relationship, they have always shown a great respect and fondness for each other. And the two will be seen reuniting once again for 'Tiger Zinda Hai', a sequel to their 2012-hit. After having wrapped up the shoot in Austria and Mumbai, the duo is currently shooting in Abu Dhabi. And, if the reports are to be believed, the former couple and current co-stars couldn't be happier in each other's company.

However, it is just not 'Tiger Zinda Hai', the two, of late, have often been seen together, from endorsements to hanging out together. In July, while in New York for an award ceremony, Salman had sung the birthday song in front of a packed house for his leading lady's 34th. While the two have often been spotted at events together, a source revealed, "Salman and Kat had agreed to attend the event knowing that they'd have each other for company."

It is just like one of Kat's friends had once commented, "Salman always has Kat's back."
