Salman Khan chooses to back Sanjay Leela Bhansali's 'Padmavati'

We bet you already know that not just news channels but the Internet too is all about the 'Padmavati' controversy. Sanjay Leela Bhansali's film, right since the beginning has got itself caught up in row after row and it just doesn't seem to stop. However, today we've got you Salman Khan and someone finally has something nice to say about the upcoming film that is slated to release on the 1st of December.

In a recent interview, the actor showed his support for the film. The actor who has previously collaborated with Sanjay reportedly said, “No decision should be made without seeing the film 'Padmavati'. Sanjay Leela Bhansali makes lovely films and there is nothing wrong with his movies." The 51-year-old actor also added that only the Central Board of Film Certification (CBFC) has the power to decide if the film is suitable for release or not.

He also reportedly mentioned that Sanjay Leela Bhansali's films always have beautiful actresses and his film never have vulgar or disgusting content. He also added that keeping his previous films in mind, people should know that he will not portray anyone in a bad light. The prolific director has been facing issue after issue regarding this Deepika Padukone, Shahid Kapoor and Ranveer Singh starrer and was even roughed up by the Karni Sena during the Jaipur schedule of the film earlier this year.
