Salman Khan offered Sridevi a film, waiting for her to respond

Sridevi has time and again proved that acting is not just another profession, rather a combination of hard work and passion. Sridevi started her career in the industry as a child artist and since has been an important part of the film industry. In her career spanning almost five decades, the actress has managed to continuously reinvent herself.

Sridevi won hearts through her portrayal of a mother in ‘English Vinglish’, and the success of the film spoke volumes about her method of acting. The film not only received critical appreciation but also managed to fair well at the box office. Sridevi and director Gauri Shinde through 'English Vinglish' managed to prove that a film need not be made on a big budget, but with good content.

Sridevi is yet again offered a film, and this time it is Salman Khan who wants her to act in a film produced under the SKF banner. According to the source close to a leading daily, “Salman Khan recently met Sridevi and offered her a film under his (production) banner. It is a sensitive story of a mother-son relationship. She has liked the script but hasn’t given her consent so far.”

The film is to be helmed by director Vipul Shah, and there is a probability that Sridevi will soon give her consent. If Sridevi agrees to do the film, it will be almost after two decades that she and Salman will work together.
