Here's why Salman Khan skipped Aamir Khan's Diwali bash

Salman Khan was out of the country during the festive seasons last year. This year though he was right here at home, he attended a few selected Diwali parties including his sister Arpita's Diwali bash, 'Race 3' producer Ramesh Taurani’s bash and his buddy Sanjay Dutt’s party.
According to sources, Salman was expected to attend Aamir Khan's Diwali party on Thursday night, but he couldn’t make it as he was at his Panvel farmhouse. A source revealed, “Salman was to leave for Greece on Friday night. He usually shoots the 'Bigg Boss' weekend episodes over the weekend in Lonavala, outside Mumbai. This time, he began early as he wanted to finish early and leave for the airport. Because of the early shoot, he decided to stay at his farmhouse, which is half-an-hour away from the location."
Post the shoot, Salman headed straight to the airport to fly to Greece and wrap up the shoot of his upcoming film 'Tiger Zinda Hai'. Says an insider, “Even the parties that Salman went to, he stayed away from the bar and the buffet. Salman has to shoot a shirtless scene for 'TZH' and he wants to look absolutely fit for the shot, which is why he didn’t stay long at the parties that he did attend. Next month, he begins 'Race 3', and he is in full fitness mode.”
