Salman Khan starrer 'Kick 2' might have this actor as female lead

Salman Khan starrer, ‘Kick’ has been slated to have a second installment. Varying reports about the film’s female leads were doing the rounds. While previous reports said, Salman’s ‘Kick’ and ‘Race 3’ co-star Jacqueline Fernandez was going to play opposite Salman Khan. But according to recent reports, that might not be the case anymore.
But what is Jacqueline’s loss, turned into Deepika Padukone’s gain. According to a report by an online entertainment news portal, Deepika was, in fact, the original choice for the film. But because things didn’t work out with the Padmaavat’ actress, the makers decided to go with Jacqueline Fernandez. But latest reports says, the film makers are considering Deepika for the female lead yet again.
The report also shed some light about Deepika’s probable role in the upcoming film. It said, her role won’t just be a typical heroine from a film starring Salman Khan. The female lead is written to be just as powerful as the male counterpart, which is why Sajid Nadiadwala is working on it, injecting heft into the female lead.
Meanwhile, while Salman is all set with his upcoming film, ‘Bharat’, Deepika is busy shooting for Meghna Gulzar’s ‘Chhapaak’.
