Following the devastating Uri attacks, the relations between India and Pakistan worsened as India banned Pakistani artistes from working in the Indian film industry, and Pakistan decided to ban the release of Bollywood films in their country. Considering that Salman Khan has fans in the country as well as in Pakistan, the makers of 'Tubelight' recently revealed that the film will hit theatres in Pakistan too.

Confirming the same to a leading tabloid, COO of Salman Khan Films, Amar Bhutala, said, "It is not true, 'Tubelight' will definitely release in Pakistan too but I cannot confirm a release date."

He further added, "Salman Khan Films is committed to taking 'Tubelight' to markets across the globe with our overseas distributors Yash Raj Films. Salman has a huge following in Pakistan, which has only grown with the positive messaging on 'Bajrangi Bhaijaan'. We hope to release 'Tubelight' in Pakistan as well, and our efforts continue in that direction, but we respect the law of the land and judiciary if they decide otherwise."

Well, Salman Khan fans who were disappointed on hearing that the film will not release in Pakistan can now rejoice! While the film is all set to release on June 23 in India, in Pakistan it will release on a later day as the distributors there don't want the local film business to get affected.
