Bollywood actor Salman Khan's Jodhpur court hearing in relation to the 19-year-old black buck killing case pushed to Jan 27
Bollywood actor Salman Khan was scheduled to appear in Jodhpur court today for the hearing about the black buck poaching case of 1998.
However, according to reports the Jodhpurt court has deferred the hearing to January 27.

Alongside Salman, actors Saif Ali Khan, Sonali Bendre, Neelam and a village local, Dushyant Singh have been asked to appear before the court. The actors have been asked to record their statements in the relation to the 19-year-old blackbuck poaching case.

It was during the shooting of Sooraj Barjatya's film, 'Hum Saath Saath Hai' that the actors had allegedly gone on a shooting expedition with a local, Dushyant Singh, where the actor killed two black bucks. This killing of the endangered species was led to protests by the local Bishnoi community, who then filed the case against the actor.

It was only last week that Salman Khan was acquitted by a Jodhpur High Court in the Arms Act case, which was linked to the killing of a black buck.
