Salman Khan to star in ‘Race 3’?

As reported earlier, Salman Khan was to collaborate with choreographer-director Remo D'souza on a film tentatively titled 'Dancing Dad'. The film that also stars Jacqueline Fernandez was to see Salman play father to a nine-year-old. The story followed the bond a father shares with his daughter, and as per reports, Salman had even begun dancing lessons for the same.

However, a recent report suggests that Salman has opted out of the film as he thinks Varun is best suited for the role. The actor is extra careful with the roles he takes up after the 'Tubelight' debacle. And now, a leading daily report suggests that Salman is now looking at starring in an out and out masala, paisa vassol projects.

Producer Ramesh Taurani has been in talks with Salman for the third film in the 'Race' franchise, 'Race 3', and the actor might finally take up the film. It has been four years since Ramesh Taurani is in talks with the actor for 'Race 3', and Salman has finally given his nod but with one condition. The actor wants Remo to direct the film and not the Abbas-Mustan duo.

Salman wants Remo to direct the film as the actor opted out of 'Dancing Dad'. However, we wonder where will this leave Abbas-Mustan, who have directed the first two installments of the 'Race' franchise.
