Sania Mirza opens up about her marriage on ‘Koffee With Karan’

Tonight's episode of 'Koffee With Karan' was rather twisted as two guests who graced the couch had a noticeable difference. However, one of the most unusual pairs on the couch, Sania Mirza and Farah Khan were quite a revelation. Sania, whose world is apart from Bollywood, was no less entertaining than Karan Johar or Farah. The tennis player spoke nineteen to a dozen on topics that varied from sports, Bollywood, to even discussing her personal life on the show.
However, when questioned about her marriage to Pakistani cricketer Shoaib Malik, Sania refutted divorce rumours and said that she was happily married. During one of the conversations, Karan prodded Sania on her marriage and asked her if she was happy in her marriage. To this, Sania said, "I am! And we stay quite far from each other and that's the secret of our marriage."
In 2014, rumour mills went abuzz with the reports of Sania seeking a divorce from her cricketer husband Shoaib. But with this one statement, the tennis player has shunned the rumours that suggest a possibility of divorce. Sania also further went on to state, "We travel so much. My dad always jokes that his 31-year marriage with my mum now is because of his tennis. He says our marriage is really strong because one of us is always travelling."
