In recent times Sanjay Dutt has been vocal about his drug addiction, and the darkest phase of his life when he lost his mother Nargis Dutt to cancer. Setting an example for other people fighting with drug menace, Sanjay is soon to collaborate with the Government to set up de-addiction centres across India.

Talking about the same to a leading tabloid, Sanjay said, "We plan to open centres to help people fight the menace of drugs. I am in talks with the government; the approvals are yet to come through. All details will be finalised once we get necessary permissions. We need to offer effective facilities and counselling help."

The star further added, "I could opt for [expensive de-addiction] treatment and rehab in America because my family could afford it. Not everyone can. The idea is to provide affordable facilities for people right here."

Post the completion of his jail tenure, 'Bhoomi' is the first film that the actor will be seen in. Talking about facing the camera for almost three years, Sanjay quipped, "On the first day, I was nervous, but that was only for the first scene. After that, I was pretty comfortable. I chose the film because I wish to now entertain the audience. Besides, 'Bhoomi' carries a strong message. It was an emotional experience."
