Sanjay Leela Bhansali to not take inspiration from 'Baahubali 2', will not increase the budget of 'Padmavati'
SS Rajamouli's magnum opus 'Baahubali 2' released this weekend, and the film has already broken the many Box Office records worldwide. The success of 'Baahubali 2' has been giving lead actor Prabhas sleepless nights as congratulatory messages continue to flow in.

Owing to the enormous success of 'Baahubali 2', there were reports that the makers of 'Padmavati' plan to increase the budget of the film. Reports further stated that the makers now plan to make 'Padmavati' on a grander and a more ambitious scale. A leading daily report suggested that the makers have increased their budget from Rs 160 crore to Rs 200 crore.

However, a source close to a leading portal rubbished the rumours and said, "This information is not true at all. Firstly, the budget is not even Rs 160 crore and then, there have been no plans to increase the budget after the success of 'Baahubali 2'. This is totally wrong information."

Directed by Sanjay Leela Bhansali, 'Padmavati' stars Deepika Padukone, Shahid Kapoor and Ranveer Singh. While Deepika plays the titular role, Shahid will be seen playing Raja Rawal Ratan Singh, and Ranveer will play the cruel king Alauddin Khilji. The cast is still shooting for the film as 'Padmavati' is slated to hit theatres on November 17 this year.
