Sara Ali Khan to debut opposite Sushant Singh Rajput in 'Kedarnath'

Saif Ali Khan's daughter, Sara Ali Khan's Bollywood debut has remained in the news for quite some time. Speculations around her debut and around the actor who she will be making a debut opposite had made headlines many times.

A leading daily now reports that Sara will be making her debut opposite Sushant Singh Rajput. As reported earlier, Sushant is soon to collaborate with 'Kai Po Che' director Abhishek ‘Gattu’ Kapoor on a film. A source close to the daily now informs that Sara has signed on to play the lead opposite Sushant. The project is tentatively titled as 'Kedarnath'

The source revealed, "Sushant was to do Abhishek’s 'i', but his dates weren’t available. Now, they are coming together with a love story. The film is scheduled to go on floors sometime next year."

Another source from the Balaji Productions informs, "Gattu wanted a fresh pairing for his film. He decided to cast Saif’s daughter as the female lead in the film. The team has met Sara and she has liked it. She is most likely to sign on within two weeks. Ekta is very close to Sara’s mom Amrita Singh. In fact, Ekta revived her career on the small screen when she wanted to return to acting. Amrita was also seen in Ekta’s production, 'A Flying Jatt', as Tiger Shroff’s mom. Amrita trusts her to launch her daughter and has given her blessings to this project."

While Abhishek Kapoor has confirmed the pairing of Sushant Singh Rajput and Sara Ali Khan for 'Kedarnath', the other details for the same are yet under the wraps.
