Shah Rukh Khan to not have a cameo in 'Jagga Jasoos'

Recently there were reports that Bollywood superstar Shah Rukh Khan is all set to do a cameo in Ranbir-Katrina's next, 'Jagga Jasoos'. The reports suggested that King Khan had recently shot for the cameo, which though brief, played an important part in the narrative.

The reports of SRK's cameo started doing rounds after SRK was spotted on the sets of 'Jagga Jasoos' late last year. This spotting was followed by a very public and fun banter between the two, which further fueled the buzz of a possible cameo. However, sources have now clarified that SRK doesn't have any role to play in the adventure flick.

According to reports, "The ongoing Twitter banter between Shah Rukh Khan and Ranbir Kapoor have sparked off rumours. However, it is untrue that Shah Rukh will do a cameo in 'Jagga Jasoos'. Shah Rukh Khan was spotted on the film's sets last year, this further provided as fodder to gossip mills."

While SRK may not have a cameo in the flick, Ranbir hinted at the possibility of another actor making a cameo in the film. Talking to an online portal Ranbir said, "I did not know SRK was there in the film. I don't think there's Shah Rukh Khan. I would have known. There could be another person's cameo.”

Echoing Ranbir's statements, director Anurag Basu added, "There can be a surprise. I am not committing the actor."

Ranbir Kapoor and Shah Rukh Khan have often spoken of their fondness for each other and were spotted sharing screen space in 'Ae Dil Hai Mushkil'.
