Shah Rukh Khan’s next with Aanand L Rai is not titled ‘Batlaa’

King Khan’s upcoming movie as a dwarf is yet to get its title finalised. Everyone is looking forward to this film, as Baadshah Khan is collaborating for the first time with Aanand L Rai.


Aanand L Rai has created magic on the silver screen before with films like ‘Tanu Weds Manu’ series and ‘Raanjhanaa’. He has also produced some brilliant movies like ‘Shubh Mangal Saavdhan’ and ‘Nil Battey Sannata’. His next with Shah Rukh Khan is also a unique story where Shah Rukh will play the role of a midget, who is in search of love. The movie also stars Katrina Kaif and Anushka Sharma in significant roles. This is the second time when the three leading stars of Bollywood will share the screen space with each other.


There were several speculation about the movie being titled as ‘Batlaa’. However, director Aanand L Rai confirmed to a leading media portal that the rumoured title is not the final on. Confirming the same, ‘Raanjhanaa’ director told the portal, “No, it is not true.”

Shah Rukh’s last outing also had some issues with the title of the film before Imtiaz Ali finalized it to ‘Jab Harry Met Sejal’.


Aanand L Rai’s movie is said to release next year and the shoot is underway, so let’s hope they will come up with some interesting title for the film soon.
