Shah Rukh Khan on PM Modi: First time in 20 years, a PM represented our country at the global level

Badshah Khan has been inspired by PM Narendra Modi’s speech at the World Economic Forum, in Davos. Shah Rukh Khan also stated that first time in 20 years there is a PM who came and represented India at a global level. The actor also felt that India has the potential to emerge as a big player in the market. Shah Rukh said, “Our PM said ‘Hum yahan apne logon ka danka bajane aaye hain’ (We are going to make our people famous). He pointed out globalisation is losing sheen and India was the only bright spot. India can reclaim its hub back very soon.”


Shah Rukh Khan praised PM Modi’s command over Hindi, “It is a matter of pride for all of us, that for the first time in 20 years, we have a PM who came and represented our country at the global level.”


Shah Rukh received the 24th Crystal Award for his leadership in championing children’s and women’s rights in India on Monday. He was awarded for his exceptional commitment to uphold dignity through his non-profitable Meer foundation.
