Shah Rukh Khan to team up with Bhansali for Sahir Ludhianvi's biopic?

The last time Sanjay Leela Bhansali and Shah Rukh Khan created magic together was in 2002 with the romantic drama ‘Devdas’. And if all goes well, the duo will be coming together for the second time very soon for the Urdu poet and lyricist Sahir Ludhianvi's biopic. While earlier there were reports about Irrfan Khan and Fawad Khan being considered for the role, the makers now feel that Shah Rukh Khan will be a perfect choice.
At a recent promotional event for ‘Raees’, Shah Rukh Khan opened up about the project and said, “I have read the script. Red Chillies was doing it, now I am glad Sanjay has taken it. I met him twice. He showed me the script and I have liked it. It is a very nice script but we haven't confirmed anything yet. I am going to meet SLB on 27th or 28th (January) if he is free from ‘Padmavati’."
The biopic will revolve around Sahir Ludhianvi's relationship with renowned poetess and novelist Amrita Pritam. Are you excited?
