Shah Rukh Khan urges people to lend support to acid attack victims

Superstar Shah Rukh Khan is known to lend his hand to a lot of charitable causes. The actor has always stood by in support of the underprivileged and the people who needed his help. And now the actor has yet again stood for a noble cause by lending his support to acid attack victims. The actor urged people to extend support to acid attack victims. SRK starred in a video for Vogue India which sent across a heartwarming message for acid attack victims. Check out the video below:



In the video Shah Rukh Khan is seen saying, "'Beauty is not skin deep' is often said but not really felt. We shy away from looking at things unpleasant yet want social acceptance for ourselves. We discriminate from inside yet fight for empowerment". His Non-Profitable has now joined hands with Vogue to create awareness for the acid attack victims in the country. The Meer Foundation provides support to female victims of acid attacks and major burn injuries through medical treatment, legal aid, vocational training, rehabilitation and livelihood support. The superstar had also received the 24th Crystal Award in Davos for 'his leadership in championing children's and women's rights in India' in January this year.
