Shah Rukh Khan's 'Raees' to have a hassle-free release
| Updated: Dec 12, 2016, 13:22 IST
On Sunday, Bollywood superstar Shah Rukh Khan met Maharashtra Navnirman Sena (MNS) chief Raj Thackeray at his Mumbai residence.
According to reports, this meeting is vital as Shah Rukh Khan's next 'Raees', starring Pakistani actress Mahira Khan is all set to hit theatres in January. Considering MNS's protests in past during the release of Karan Johar's, 'Ae Dil Hai Mushkil', SRK met and assured Raj Thackeray that Mahira will not be a part of film's promotion; and SRK will henceforth not work with Pakistani artistes.
Post the meeting, MNS Chief Raj Thackeray told ANI, "He (Shah Rukh Khan) had come to inform that rumours about Mahira Khan promoting Raees are false. He specifically came to clarify Mahira will not be a part of the promotions in India."
Well, it looks like that it will be a smooth release for Raees!
