Shahid: I wanted to talk to someone after winning awards, but it was an empty house

From a young teenager in ‘Ishq Vishq’ to winning the best actor award for ‘Haider’, Shahid Kapoor has come a long way. But Bollywood’s chocolate boy admits that true growth happened after he got married to the love of his life, Mira Rajput’.
“I recall that after winning awards for Haider, I wanted to sit with someone and talk to someone. It was an empty house and now there is happiness”
Talking about his wife Mira Rajput, the actor said,”I always wanted to marry someone who is real and normal. Mira pulls me back and gives a fresh perspective to things. In fact, she is opinionated and I never second guess her opinion.”
It’s not easy to be a parent though. Shahid laughed as he shared some of his struggles as a dad,“With a baby. I wake up every 3 hours. I change diapers and most of my t-shirts have Misha’s vomit and milk stains on them.”
