Shahid Kapoor and Madhu Mantena friends no more?

According to reports Shahid Kapoor and producer Madhu Mantena are no longer on talking terms. The first cracks in their friendship began to appear when Shahid Kapoor's 'Shandaar', which was produced by Madhu Mantena tanked. When asked Madhu to comment on the same, he refused to either deny or confirm the development. However, the tiff post the 'Shandaar' debacle dissolved and the two besties were a constant fixture at each other's weddings that took place a month apart in 2015.

In fact, Madhu was one of the major reasons why Shahid signed up for the character of Tommy Singh in the drug drama 'Udta Punjab'. However, according to a source, the cracks further developed in their friendships when Shahid recently parted ways with his talent management agency, which Madhu is an integral part of. “As of now, the two of them do not even speak to each other,” adds the source.

However, a common acquaintance recently revealed that both of them are making an effort to rekindle the friendship, but things don't look good on that front.

When quizzed about their friendship, Shahid said,“It’s a personal matter.” He, however, confirmed that he was not with Madhu's talent agency anymore. The actor, however, clarified, “But I want to clarify that there’s no bad blood between Madhu and me at all.”
