It took a lot for Ranveer Singh to give his final nod to Sanjay Leela Bhansali to play Alauddin Khilji in 'Padmavti', which stars Deepika Padukone in the title role. Rumours suggested that Ranveer started having problems when Shahid Kapoor came on board and he wanted Shahid’s role chopped for which he met Bhansali a couple of times.
But my source tells me that the two actors met recently and cleared out their differences. Apparently, both the actors agreed that their professional decisions and negotiations with Bhansali should not and will not affect their friendship.
