Shahid Kapoor returns to Mumbai after developing a viral infection on the sets of ‘Batti Gul Meter Chalu’
Bollywood actor Shahid Kapoor was recently in Dehradun, shooting for his upcoming film ‘Batti Gul Meter Chalu’. The actor had been shooting there for the past month and was almost done shooting for that particular schedule of the film. However, he then developed a viral infection, which left him feeling quite unwell. His wife Mira Kapoor and daughter Misha who had visited him on the sets a little while ago were also under the weather.

A source revealed, “Shahid was feeling unwell but continued with the shoot nonetheless. His sore throat got aggravated as he had to deliver a dialogue in a high pitch. By Tuesday, he was down with high fever. It was then that the doctor recommended that he take rest. He was also advised to not strain his vocal cords. So, the shoot was canceled for the day.”

Shahid didn’t want the shoot to get delayed so he resumed shooting after a day’s rest. However, his health deteriorated further which is when doctors advised him to go back home and take some rest before resuming work. “He has viral infection and has been advised to rest it out this week,” a source close to him said. Well, we wish the actor a speedy recovery. Stay tuned for more updates.
