Shahid Kapoor has received much appreciation for his role played in Sanjay Leela Bhansali’s ‘Padmaavat’, however, now, the actor has already moved on to his next, ‘Batti Gul Meter Chalu’ and he even recently took to Instagram to post a picture of himself to let his fans know that he has begun shooting for the same too.

In a recent interview with a leading daily, the actor opened up about how he felt about the box-office numbers of ‘Padmaavat’. He said that he was happy and content and is glad to be working at his own pace. “The idea is just to keep going. Zyaada aage ki sochne ki zarurat nahi hai (There is no need to think too far ahead). I like to immerse my energy into whatever I have in my hand, but I’m open to new challenges. So, there are no problems, no fears, no inhibitions, and no insecurities,” he said.

He also revealed that he does not like to plan too much. “I honestly feel that the worst thing an actor can do is planning and that’s why I don’t like to plan. For me, it’s all about (taking up) one film and one opportunity at a time, so that I can go ahead, give my 100 percent, see it release, laugh or cry over it, and finally move on," he revealed.

The actor has completed almost 15 years in the industry. On this, he said, “Old photos of mine keep coming up on Instagram and Twitter. Mira often says with a smile, ‘This isn’t the same guy I married'. So it has been a huge transformation.”

Well, here’s looking forward to another 15 years in the industry for you and more!
