Shahid Kapoor talks about being absent from 'Padmavati's' promotions

Sanjay Leela Bhansali's magnum opus 'Padmavati' has been in the limelight for all the right and wrong reasons. Ever since the film's trailer came out, fans have been eagerly waiting for the film's release. What was also surprising was that only Deepika Padukone can be seen promoting the film, whereas it also stars Ranveer Singh and Shahid Kapoor.
Recently, Shahid was at a fashion event, where he was asked as to when he will join 'Padmavati's' promotions. To this, the actor replied, "Why should I tell? Ask Deepika Padukone!" Interestingly, Deepika was also present at this event.
Shahid had earlier also spoken about his co-stars Deepika and Ranveer, to a leading magazine. The actor said, "They’re both great. I think the cast of the film is fantastic. I don’t know when else a cast like this will come together in a subject like this with characters which have gone down in history with moments that are spectacular and a part of Indian history so to say. And I guess it’s thanks to Sanjay Leela Bhansali who has put everyone together. I don’t know when else a cast like this would come through. Of course, Deepika and Ranveer have been working from before and they’ve done great work together. I loved 'Bajirao Mastani' and I loved everybody in the film."
