Shahid Kapoor to star in Vipul K Rawal's next?

Shahid Kapoor, who is currently away with his wife Mira Rajput and daughter Misha for a European vacation has apparently tonnes of work with him. As per reports, before jetsetting off for the vacation, Shahid met with story and screenplay and story writer, Vipul K Rawal - whose last work was 'Rustom' - for a detailed story narration.

The duo is planning to collaborate on the project titled, 'Roshni'. Talking about development, a source close to the development said, "Vipul was clear that he wanted Shahid for the lead and after he heard the story, he immediately gave his nod to the drama even though there was no director on board at the time. The meeting lasted three hours with the writer and actor discussing different plot points in the story and how the film would eventually pan out."

"After that, he will sign this film, which is being produced by Prernaa Arora's KriArj Entertainment, and should roll early next-year," the source further added.

Shahid will next be seen in Sanjay Leela Bhansali's period drama 'Padmavati' as Raja Rawal Ratan Singh and is set to wrap up the film by October.
