Shahid Kapoor wants more screen space in the second trailer of ‘Padmavati’?

As soon as the first trailer of Sanjay Leela Bhansali’s magnum opus ‘Padmavati’ came out, Bollywood celebs and the audiences went gaga all over it. Not only were people totally wowed by the trailer, they also went bonkers over Ranveer Singh’s portrayal of Sultan Alauddin Khilji. Both Deepika Padukone who plays Rani Padmini and Shahid Kapoor who essays Maharawal Ratan Singh, were outshined by Ranveer Singh in the trailer.

Ranveer displayed a gamut of emotions, from gluttony to wickedness, pride to lust, desperation to wildness. He swept people off their feet with his jaw-dropping performance. Unfortunately, both Shahid and Deepika could not create an impact of that intensity. And hence, according to a report in a leading entertainment media portal, Shahid wants more screen space in the second trailer of the film which may be unveiled in the next few days.

Apparently, Shahid is not happy with the response he has received so far and has hence spoken with the filmmaker to give his character more time and space in the second trailer. The magnum opus is slated to hit the theatres on December 1, 2017.
