Shalini Kapoor: Janhvi is a sweetheart and very loving and a dedicated actor too

Actress Shalini Kapoor who is going to play Janhvi Kapoor’s mother in the film ‘Dhadak’, is all praises for her and is delighted to work with Karan Johar. Shalini Kapoor is a known television actress. She stated that Janhvi is a sweetheart and also a dedicated actress. She also expressed that it’s every actor’s dream to work with Karan Johar and his team.


This will mark Shalini’s comeback film post her marriage and she talks about her character, “I am playing Janhvi Kapoor’s mom. She is a traditional and sophisticated Rajasthani lady. I am absolutely elated to work with (filmmaker Karan Johar’s) Dharma Productions as it’s every actor’s dream. It’s my comeback in films as post-marriage; I had started doing only serials.”


Shalini further talked about her on-screen daughter Janhvi Kapoor, she said,“I have been a mom to a lot of new actors and actresses on TV and by the grace of God they all have made it big. Hope the magic continues. Janhvi is a sweetheart and very loving and a dedicated actor too.”


The film is slated to release this year. It also marks the debut of Ishaan Khatter along with Janhvi Kapoor.
