Shobhaa De recounts what Sridevi had embarrassingly told her in regards to Boney Kapoor!

Sridevi's untimely demise has shocked the entire nation and many fans, as well as celebrities, are still mourning her unfortunate demise. While some have gone on to visit the Kapoor family to offer their condolences, some have been taking to social media to recount a few memories they have of her. One such is columnist Shobhaa De.

Writing an ode to the celebrated actress, she also recounted an incident which made her realise how madly in love Sridevi and husband Boney Kapoor were in. Shobhaa wrote that she met Boney Kapoor who was upset with her since she did not like Sridevi’s last film 'Mom'. Boney Kapoor said, “Sri was so fantastic in that role- she is the best." Shobhaa De shared that she exchanged phone numbers with Boney Kapoor who then kept forwarding her photos of his beloved wife, Sridevi. Shobhaa De mentioned that Boney Kapoor forwarded her photos of Sridevi from different events and added gushing descriptions.

Shobhaa De also wrote that soon after her encounter with Boney Kapoor, she met Sridevi and told her about the photos she received from Boney Kapoor. Sridevi responded by saying, “He also sends the same images to me, in case I have missed seeing them. I feel so embarrassed! Each time I dress up to go out, he clicks pictures and says, 'Look! How beautiful you are! This colour really suits you!'”

After her demise, Boney Kapoor penned an emotional note that read, “To the world she was their Chandni...the actor par excellence…their Sridevi..but to me she was my love, my friend, mother to our girls..my partner.”
