SHOCKING: This is how much Malaika demanded from Arbaaz as alimony

Bollywood break-ups and divorces are the most controversial topics discussed over almost anything. 2016 is to end soon, however, through the year B-town separations were a constant highlight and a common sight. The year of break-ups like one would call it!

Some of the unexpected couples headed for splitsville this year, but one separation, in particular, that has left many of us shocked is of Arbaaz Khan and Malaika Arora. The two were said to have called it quits long back, but Arbaaz's family insisted that they give their relationship a second chance. Arbaaz's brother Salman Khan too tried his best to convince the couple against divorce, but Arbaaz and Malaika stayed headstrong over their decision. While the couple did give their relationship a try, things didn't seem to work out well for the two.

However, with mutual consent the two filed for a divorce in Bandra Family Court. The cause of their separation though not clear, the rumour mills are abuzz that it was Malaika's closeness with Arjun Kapoor that led to the discord. Arbaaz too is said to be dating a mystery woman. But nonetheless, the two are now soon to get divorced with mutual consent.

But what shock us is the amount Malaika has demanded as alimony from Arbaaz. If reports are anything to go by, then Malaika has asked Arbaaz to pay 10-15 crore as alimony for their divorce proceedings. A source close to a website revealed, "That's quite an amount no doubt, but Rs 10 crore minimum is what Malaika wants. And she will not settle for anything lesser."
