Shraddha Kapoor signed for Aamir Khan’s ‘Thugs Of Hindostan'?

The makers of Aamir Khan and Amitabh Bachchan starrer ‘Thugs Of Hindostan’ were on a look out for their leading lady since a very long time. However, sources reveal that after much consideration, the team has finally locked in Shraddha Kapoor to play Aamir’s love interest in the film.

A source close to the project recently revealed, “Shraddha did a look test for a role opposite Aamir a month ago and everyone loved it — producer Aditya Chopra, Aamir Khan as well as director Vijay Krishna ‘Victor’ Acharya. It was a unanimous decision to sign Shraddha.” However, a confirmation from the production house is yet to come.

The film is based on Philip Meadows Taylor’s novel ‘Confessions Of A Thug’ and will revolve around the lives of imperial deceivers, thugs who stole from travellers, in India during the 1830s. Helmed by Vijay Krishna Acharya and produced under the banner of Yash Raj Films, ‘Thugs Of Hindostan’ is scheduled to release in 2018.
