Sidharth on breakup rumours with Alia: Break-up for what?

Recently there were reports that all is not well between actors Alia Bhatt and Sidharth Malhotra. The reports suggested that there was friction between the rumoured couple and they were 'not on talking terms anymore'.
However, when quizzed Sidharth about the same at 'A Gentleman' song launch, the actor hinted that all was well between the two. Sidharth said, "Me and Alia break-up? For what? We broke some tables and chairs? Aap toh kuch bhi likh sakte hai, there’s no point saying anything."
This is not the first time that the reports of trouble in the paradise have emerged. While there were reports that Sidharth and Alia were to star together in 'Aashiqui 3', Alia took to Twitter to clarify that while 'Aashiqui 3' happen it is not on cards now.
While the alleged couple has always been prodded about their relationship, they have neither confirmed nor denied the allegation.
On the work front, Alia will next be seen in Meghna Gulzar’s 'Raazi', alongside Vicky Kaushal. And Sidharth Malhotra's 'A Gentleman' opens in theatres on September 25
